M. Charlemagne NINDJIN

Teacher-Researcher, Lecturer in Biochemistry and Food Technology

BIOGRAPHY

• Dr Charlemagne NINDJIN is a Teacher-Researcher, Lecturer in Biochemistry and Food Technology, at Nangui Abrogoua University. He is also an Associate Researcher at the Swiss Center for Scientific Research in Côte d’Ivoire (CSRS);
• He is currently the Director of Valorization and Innovation at MESRS in Ivory Coast, since July 2023, and as such has the mission, among other things, to contribute to building the Research – Private Sector – Community Ecosystem ;
• He is an Expert in the value chain of agricultural products and has around twenty years of experience in coordinating partnership research projects in the field of food security and nutrition;
• He has several years of experience in consulting with private companies (Sucden-CI, CCB in Tiassalé, etc.) and development institutions (UNICEF, FAO, OAPI, KfW, etc.)

• In November and December 2022, He was the Consultant in charge of the characterization, delimitation and development of the Specifications with a view to the recognition of Attieke des Lagunes as a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
• He holds the certificate of competence in geographical indications and collective marks from the WIPO Academy, the World Intellectual Property Office;
• He has nearly thirty scientific publications in impact factors journals.

• Winner of the national prize: “CSRS Prize – Lombard Odier for Scientific Research in Partnership of the 2002/2003 edition, August 13, 2003, Abidjan, Ivory Coast”.
• Winner of the American Fulbright Senior Researcher Scholarship for the 2013-14 class
• Winner of the 2020 Employer Encouragement Prize for Research and Innovation in Agriculture.
